Endangered Species

According to IUCN, more than 42,100 species are threatened with extinction. One in four mammal species and one in eight bird species are at risk of extinction.

With human activity increasingly threatening the habitats of many species,  we will provide an overview of the causes and consequences of species endangerment, as well as highlight some of the organizations and individuals working to protect these important organisms.

Directory of endangered species

Endangered species are plant or animal species that are at risk of becoming extinct. These species face a multitude of threats, including habitat destruction, overhunting or poaching, pollution, climate change, and disease.
